Will Gase Pull Off Another Miami Miracle

Adam Gase can get a huge win for his regime this week

Gase pulled off a shocker against the Patriots last year in Miami

Adam Gase will have his Miami Dolphins hosting ‘those guys‘ again.

Yeah, those guys that win the AFC East every year… and will go down as the best Football dynasty of our lifetime.

However, the Dolphins have actually had the Patriots baffled when playing from the comforts of Miami.  The Phins have won 4 out of the last 5 games in South Florida against the Patriots. Brady is a shocking 7-9 playing in Miami.

On paper, this sounds like great news. Unfortunately, a lot of the media outlets have been bringing up these struggles to Belichick’s and Brady’s attention. This makes me a bit nervous that a blowout could be brewing.

But the reality is, in Miami, the Pats dominance isn’t, well, so dominant.

The biggest reason why Miami has been successful against the Patriots at home is that they have done a terrific job of getting to Brady.

This pressure must continue… if they want another upset.

Even though Brady is a sure-fire first-ballot Hall of Famer, he like every other QB in one way: susceptible to relentless pressure. And in truth, he suffers even more than most of the greatest QBs under duress.

Wake has been a thorn in Brady’s side for years. If he and Quinn can turn up the heat against Brady this upcoming weekend then they will at the very least make this a competitive game.  However, the Dolphins pass rush has been terrible so far this season. Also, the Dolphins best cover corner in Xavien Howard will be out on Sunday. Brady likes to get the ball out in nearly 2 secs, so only when he is forced to move through his progressions does the pass rush get to him.

Miami will only win if their offense wakes up from the season-long coma

On offense, Ryan Tannehill has proved he is a better option than Brock. Tannehill has led the ‘O’ to two opening game touchdown drives in his last two games. Over his last two starts, he’s led the Dolphins to score an average of 22.5 points. These are not staggering numbers by any means, and Miami will need to better than this against the Pats.

This might just be this positive spin, but after averaging just 12.5 points per game against the Packers and Jets with Osweiler, I’m happy as hell to have Tannehill back.

Another thing that could help Miami is getting some much-needed production from their running game of Gore and Drake.  Playing the ‘ball-control game’ against the Patriots with a steady running game, is another good way to limit Brady. If we can keep him on the bench, he can’t tear out our hearts for the millionth time.

When the various Per Head Solutions websites like www.AcePerHead.com, opened this game the line opened with the Patriots as a -7.5 point favorite.  The line went up briefly to -8, but is now back down to -7.5 and has been staying steady there for most of the week. As expected the action is coming in at an absolutely ridiculous rate of almost 10 to 1 on the Patriots, which does usually bode well for the underdogs in these cases.  I’m not sure if the Dolphins can pull off another Miracle in Miami… but hopefully they can at least make it a respectable game.  What are the rest of the Miami Dolphins News fans thoughts about the Dolphins chances against the Patriots this upcoming weekend in Miami?

    Wishful thinking!

The Patriot this season They have 48 sacks this season, second most in the NFL (Broncos, 49). The Patriots sacked Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill five times in Week 8. What’s the plan to prevent this from happening again?

1.The Miami Dolphins has beat 3 teams who are drafting in the top 5. They beat the Jets twice already!
2.The Dolphins are the Second fewest big play team in the league.
3.The Dolphins are ranked 29th in Offense.
4.The Dolphins are ranked 29th in Defense.

Most of the time the Patriots have already made or clinched the AFC division so a loss to the Fins would not be important. While getting ready for the playoffs? This season is different and the PAT’s will have to play the Dolphins and not play around with them. I figure the game will be over bye the 1st half.

I’m will not get hyped again with this team, hoping that mediocrity will win the Division?

This was Jimmy’s… and mine was similar to your sentiments. No Howard and Brendel isn’t good… even with that, this team hasn’t shown they can be excellent. Psyched? No… not anytime soon… sadly.
