It has been almost 2 weeks and the Dolphins will finally be back on the field this weekend at home against a very good Green Bay Packers team. The Packers have been hot the last two games, scoring over 40 points in both against two of their division rivals. Now it will be the Dolphins’ turn to try and corral Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay offense.
The Dolphins need to start out strong and be in Rodgers face all game. Rodgers is most likely going to be a hall of fame QB when his career is over, however even hall of fame QBs have bad games when they are constantly getting pressured in the pocket and running for their lives. Miami has to also make a heavy commitment to the run game. I know I have said this all week, but I truly believe that if the Dolphins can run the ball well, then there is a very high probability that they can win this game. The offense needs to score points and they need to score touchdowns if they want to win this game. Lets face it the Dolphins are not shutting out the Packers, so the Dolphins need to score points if they want to win. The run game needs to be the backbone of the offense, and if the run game can do its job, then it will open up things for Tannehill and the passing game.
