LeSean McCoy In Question For Sunday

McCoy has a bad hamstring and might not be available.

McCoy is the second leading rushing in the NFL.

The Miami Dolphins are facing the Buffalo Bills this Sunday, and in the past 3 years the Dolphins have only been able to beat the Bills once out of the 6 games. The Bills have had the Dolphins number in all facets of the game. But, if the Miami can play like they did against the Steelers, then at the very least this will be a very close game.

The caveat is both teams might have big losses for this week.

The Dolphins suffered a major setback this week when they lost Reshad Jones for the remainder of the year with a shoulder injury.

The Bills also may be playing this weekend without a couple of their major weapons.

Running back LeSean McCoy is now being listed as questionable this weekend due to a hamstring injury and might join Marcell Darius as a scratch. There is still a chance he may end up playing, however, when teams designate a player as Questionable that means that the player will is 50 / 50 and even if he does show, he won’t be 100%. This is terrific news for the Dolphins, because they have struggled against the run this season, and McCoy is playing at an elite level.

McCoy has been the most dynamic element of the Bill offense.

Normally, I’d want the best for Miami to overcome, but I’ll take what extras ‘boost-ups’ I can get at this point.

This will be a severe blow to the Bills running attack, which is currently ranked as the number 1 running attack in the entire league, averaging 166.5 yards per game. McCoy was a huge part of that, and now they will have to fill the void with past Miami running backs, such as Mike Gillislee and Reggie Bush.  Most pay per head software fans will agree that both of these players, and the few others that the Bills have on their roster are a major drop off from the explosive and elusive McCoy.

Injuries are a part of the game and Miami definitely has a fair share of their own, but it is always advantageous when the other team is also plagued with injuries to their key contributors. If McCoy does end up missing this game, this should make the Dolphins job of stopping the Bills running attack a bit easier — which mean they darn well better or else! Go Fins!!!
