Big Test for D-line

football gambling

Before the season began many sports betting software like Ace Pay Per Head Software fans were saying that the back bone of Miami’s Defense was going to be their Defensive line. The D-line proved this in impressive fashion in the first game, where they sacked Brady 4 times, forced him to fumble two times, and only allowed 89 yards on the ground. Now the Dolphins will travel to Buffalo to play a team that has beaten them in 3 out of the last 4 games. One of the ways to reverse that trend is for the D-line to have a statement game.

The Bills have a two headed monster in the backfield with CJ Spiller and Fred Jackson. This duo was able to contribute 114 yards out of the 193 rushing yards that the Bills racked up against the Bears last week, so this is not going to be an easy task to stop. In addition the Bills will have a healthy EJ Manuel, who will play against the Dolphins for the first time. In the past the Dolphins have had problems with mobile QB’s so it will be interesting to see if anything has changed when they face a very mobile Manuel.

It should be a great matchup this upcoming weekend, because it will be strength against strength, and football gambling fans are going to see a heavy dose of smash mouth football. If the phins D-line wants to be considered as a top unit in the league, then they will need to come up with a big time performance this weekend against one of the better rushing duos in the league. The D-line lead by Wake made a very nice opening game statement by harassing Brady, and making him look pedestrian. Now they need to carry that momentum into Buffalo by staying stout against a bruising rushing attack.

One thing that Defensive Coordinator Coyle did nicely last game was unleash a 5-2 front that enabled the phins to get all of their best D-linemen on the field at once. This scheme utilized their three defensive tackles; Starks, Mitchell, and Odrick, and let Wake and Vernon tee off on each end. It was a successful scheme that ended up causing a crucial fumble, and turnover in the game. It was refreshing that the coaching staff understands that they have some special players on the D-line, and they were inventive enough to find ways to get them all on the field at the same time.

There are many factors that are involved in each victory, but I believe that if the D-Line can shut down Buffalo’s running attack, and put pressure on Manuel like they did with Brady, then the odds of Miami going 2-0 will greatly increase.

Plenty of reason for Miami to exact revenge last season but even more for this one. If Miami wants to win the Division this is a Must win that will send a loud and clear message to all in the AFC East. A dominate performance against a strong opponent will send reverberations throught the league and the Fan base that we Finally arrived. This game looms large for this young Dolphin team and coaching staff. Losing, no it’s not the end of the season by any means. It will change the feel off it and possibly the momentum we have building. Get ready for sunday it’s going to be a defining 3 hours, get your game face on FIns & Fans alike.
    Go Dolphins!!!!

Yes it would be a huge win for us, we would be 2-0 in the division and no other team in the east will even have 1 victory in the division. That is huge! It is going to be a dog fight, and I would say it is going to come right down to the end of the game, and the winner will win by 3 or less points, possibly on the final play of the game

There is always a need for a balanced defensive effort, however the Bills are a run first team. I don’t believe that their offensive line is a good as our defensive line. Our weakness will be in the Linebacker corps. We have to rely on our secondary to cover the mistakes our young and aggressive LB’s will make. We need to get them in third and long so that Manuel has to win the game with his arm.

I think the monkey is off of Davis’ back a little. Our secondary will have a good day against the Bills receivers. I believe that the Dolphins will get their second win in a close one. Remember, they have our old place kicker. He is pretty good!

As big a game as the Patriots game was, this game is just as or even bigger now! The Buffalo Bills were pretty much the team that kept the Fins out of the playoffs. If the Fins want to win the division or receive a wild card to get into the playoffs for the first time in franchise history (seems like it), Buffalo will have a lot to do with it! We do not have to go up to Buffalo in December, a nice early season game up there should provide decent weather. Stop their run = win the game!!! Just do not see the Bills throwing all over our defense, however; stranger things have happened. The offense needs to continue with their balanced attack, mixing in no huddle, and a deep ball or two this Sunday would be all so nice.

2-0 start to the season, a 2-0 start in the division, would be a major step as well as a major statement towards where the Fins want and should go in 2014 = PLAYOFFS!!!
