What the Phins need to do to beat the Pats

sports gambling

We are finally less than a week away from the Miami Dolphins’ home opener against their Division rival the New England Patriots. The Dolphins are not going to have any room for error in this game, if they want to come away with a victory. They are already playing behind the 8 ball with Pouncey, Jones and Jordan not being active for the game.

If the Dolphins want to win this game, then they are going to have to score touchdowns. During the preseason Tannehill looked very comfortable in Bill Lazor’s new offense. He was able to move the ball up and down the field, however he turned the ball over twice in the preseason, and in the game against Dallas he only managed to get 3 points in the entire first half of the game. Bottom line, that is not going to cut it, if the Dolphins want to beat the Patriots. If they are going to beat the Patriots they are going to need to score at least 24 points, and the only way to score that many points is with touchdowns.

The Patriots are going to have a pretty healthy squad going into the opener, which includes their big bodied red zone threat in Rob Gronkowski. Covering Tight Ends is definitely a weakness with the Dolphins defense, and they will be going against one of the best TE’s in the league right out of the gate. Coyle’s defensive game plan should have someone on defense spying and shadowing Gronk whenever he is in the ball game.

The Patriots traded Logan Mankins, and seem a bit vulnerable on the offensive line, so this might be a solid advantage for our very stout defensive line. They can cause a lot of pressure and chaos in the Patriots backfield. In the past, when the Dolphins have beaten the Patriots, they have put Brady on the ground and rattled him with pressure. If the Dolphins can get consistent pressure on Brady, then sports betting software like Ace Pay Per Head Software fans would say the odds of Brady carving up the opponent’s defense will be reduced.

Obviously if the Dolphins do not win this game it does not mean that the season is going to be a disaster, or that the Dolphins playoff hopes are off the table. The fact is the Patriots are a very good team, and unless Tom Brady gets hurt, then they are going to make and threaten to go deep in the playoffs. However, if the Dolphins want to prove they belong in the playoffs, then they are going to have to beat some good teams, like the Patriots.

Another help would be to have Wallace run go routes all first quarter. Revis will be with him all the way. That should keep him out of the game. He’s getting old and hasn’t got the legs to keep up all day. By the second half let the tight ends take over. But the most important key to this game is MOVE THE CHAINS!! Keep their defense on the field, we have never been able to do that.

Well, you never answered the question in the heading of your article mate.

The only way in hell the Fins beat the patriots, aside from stating the obvious which you so keenly covered (score more points), is really not that simple or easy.

Tanny and Wallace must, read have to in order to win, connect on vertical passes. It will be the only way Fins will eek out running yardage, especially if they keep Moreno on the bench for this bum of a RB who they for some gawd awful reason believe is a starting caliber runner from the “U”. So, on offense, its not the conventional “have to run the ball, kill the clock, limit Brady’s reps…” blah blah blah. It will be all about forcing Belichick into defenses he doesnt want to call. Lots of nickle and dimes. If the Fins can force Beli into that, then Moreno will have a field day, and the fins can then have some hope of scoring a few TD’s.

On D? The only chance in hell is if Coyle grows some cojones, plays press man and blitzes the hell out of Brady and dirties him up early and often punching that pretty boy whos owned us for the last 10 years, in the mouth. The only way to disrupt the Patriots offense is to….well…disrupt it. You cant do that playing the current brand of Defense exhibited by the “U” canes vs Louisville (and since Al Golden and D’Onforio) rode in to town with their ethics and morals.

Nope, it will be Brady owning the ball, controlling the clock, running on our D when Coyle thinks theyre passing, and passing when Coyle thinks theyre running, unless Coyle grows the cojones.

    I doubt it.

Miami Dolphins are the first team to appear in three consecutive Super Bowls, and the second team to win back-to-back championships. Patriots have dominated the AFC East division. So its been predicted that Dolphins will lose as opponent are in full strength. As a Dolphins fan I hope this team will beat patriots.
