Time to get Healthy

sports gambling

The Dolphins just completed their final practice this week and will now have the next 5 days off to rest and enjoy their bye week. Most sports gambling fans would say that it would be more advantageous for a team to have their bye week later in the season, however for the Dolphins this appears to be an optimal time, since they have quite a few injured players.

The Dolphins have been without Mike Pouncey this season, and with one more week of resting and practicing under his belt, he should be able to finally return to the starting line up next week against the Green Bay Packers. Samson Satele has actually done an admirable job filling in for Pouncey, however Pouncey is a pro bowl Center who is the leader of the offensive line, and his presence in the line up will be an immediate upgrade to the team.

Starks, Misi, Smith and McCain all missed the Raiders game, but they were all practicing on Wednesday, which means there is a strong probability that they will be ready to play against the Packers next week. In addition Albert, Wilson, and Satele were injured during the Raiders game and all were practicing Wednesday and should be ready for the Packers game as well.

Lastly Reshad Jones just completed his suspension, and he has been fully practicing with the team all week. This means that Jones will regain his starting safety position and Jimmy Wilson will move back to his more natural Nickel position. On paper this should be another positive upgrade for the team.

As long as these these players and any other players that are slightly banged up, such as Charles Clay, use these next 5 days to rest and heal their bodies, then Miami should be fielding its most complete and healthiest team of the season against the Packers next Sunday. Hopefully all of these starters becoming healthy and returning to the lineup will translate into the Dolphins having a consistently better team each week.

They miss Misi big time and Pouncey should make a noticeable difference. I would like to see Jones go to free safety while Delmas stays at strong. Also more of Gator Hoskins while Clay recovers more fully. I agree the Packers game will be a good litmus test and the Patriots are very vulnerable, hard to see Brady making it through the season unhurt. Curious about how the Bills will do with Orton. I think the Dolphins will get hot for the second half of the season when the offense gels.

I would change the word from “healthy” to “better”. Pouncey’s abscense hasn’t translated into problems in OL blocking. Reshad Jones also not felt. Also more glaringly is that this team doesnt miss DJordan one iota. McCain is far more productive and upside than DJ, who has his own set of problems witht he noodle.

The one player that this team absolutely misses is KMoreno. Otherwise, the pieces are interchangable.
