Summer Time Lull

For all the die-hard football fans and the pay per head bookie service sites like AcePerHead.com out there, this is the hardest time of year because there is rarely any player movement, and a rest period before training camp begins, which means the news about our beloved Phins is nearly non-existent. Luckily for us, this time of year is also the quiet before the storm, because in less than 3 weeks Miami will be on the field for training camp, and in 58 days the Dolphins will be in Washington playing their first game of the 2015 season.

Unfortunately, the next few weeks are also going to be relatively quiet on Phinsnews.com as well, unless we make a surprise signing or a new development occurs. (Evan Mathis) If there is something newsworthy, or something worth talking about, then we will post an article about it, however, the chances are slim that breaking news will come out. It is fair to say we have gone over everything we could possibly go over ad nauseam, but if there are any specific requests that you guys would like us to go over or re-talk about, please let us know, and we would be more than happy to write about it. So to all those Miami Dolphins news fans out there, enjoy the summer and we will be posting at a more regular pace once training camp begins on Thursday, July 30th.

Hello Dolphins Fans! There has been talk about the Fins melt down in November and December months. How can the Fins win in these months? Let me first write that I believed in the Management, Coaching and players to make us proud to be Dolphin fans.

Four key factors for success this season:
    1. Minimize team mistakes
    2. Keep the Offense on the field a. (Play to the linemen strength’s)
    3. Defense make key stops
    4. Special Teams coach to “Score”

Dolphins Rushing offense that works enjoy:

I am glad there is no news on the Phins during this period. Because any news around now would usually have to do with some player being arrested or blowing one’s fingers off with fireworks.

Jimmy, whether it is Evan Mathis or someone else, I fully expect the Fins to add at some point before the regualar season a good solid veteran OG. To expect to have out of our current roster emerge 2 OG’s who can hold down the fort is not realistic. Teams like Dallas, KC, etc., who have an abundace of quality OL/OG’s will release somebody either in training camp or in Preseason. What are your thoughts? Do you expect the Fins to ultimately sign Mathis? No one else has signed him either! Thank you for your postings! Steve.
