So many questions to be answered

As opening day is quickly approaching, besides being excited to see our boys in aqua and orange suit up and start the season, we will finally get the chance to have our many questions answered this Sunday. I don’t know if it is just me, but I can’t remember the last time that the Miami Dolphins have entered a season with some many unsettled questions that need to be answered.

For starters, Ryan Tannehill will be the first rookie quarterback to ever start an opening day for our once proud franchise. Of course, every single play and emotion he displays will be heavily scrutinized under the microscope, but the ironic thing is that, I think RT is well down the list of concerns for this team. Phins news fans should be more concerned with our wide receivers, secondary, and offensive line. Can anyone step up in these positions, and blossom into a playmaker, and help ease phins news fans worries? Is the defense going to look like they did in the first 2 preseason games, where they got carved up like a Thanksgiving turkey, or are they going to play like they did against Atlanta, where they bent but did not break? Are passes going to be constantly dropped like a no armed juggler trying to catch balls flying in the air? Is the banged up offensive line going to create running lanes, and allow RT to have time in the pocket? Is the no huddle offense going to work, and mask some of these other problems? With a rookie head coach and rookie QB, can the Dolphins at least give their fans something to hope for in the not too distant future, or is this just another stepping stone in the game of musical QB’s and coaches?

Hopefully the sportsbook betting strategy is that after all these years of heartache, we may be finally in store with a solid foundation to build off, so we can once again be the prestigious and accomplished franchise that we once were.

I guess all the questions have been answered. What we saw against Texans is what it is…still.

No playmaker on offense (meanwhile BMarshall catches 9 passes for Bears).

No playmaker on D, zero turnovers.

    FIRE IRELAND NOW!!

Marshall is just a better fit with Cutler. He caught his fair share of passes here, but had problems holding on to TD’s. Why can’t we sign Plaxico, they guy is one of the best WR’s in the red zone, if football. That is what we need

I have the Dolphins scoring 13 as well. I’m thinking 27-13.

I usually dont give that many points but in this case I cant see fins scoring more than one TD …during trash time….nor fins D stopping run or pass by Texans.

Definitely a 20 pt difference here.

Im giving the points on this one.

Yeah especially since they are playing a re very good defense, i cant see miami scoring over 17, unless defense or special teams comes up huge. The only thing that is making me think it is going to be closer is because the line has moved so much, 7 1/2 to 12 1/2. I think we lose by 10, screwing over all the gamblers picking the Texans laying -12 1/2

After reading your article…one has to wonder what the hell Ireland has been doing?

I mean, here we are post draft, training camp, preseason, going into the first game with more holes on this roster than any other franchise.

    The stadium will be empty…again.

    Texans 41
    Fins 13

Yeah it appears that we have gone backwards after last season. hopefully even if they lose they will not get blown out, but at the moment it does not look good. Before preseason the line was at -7 1/2 now, days away from the game and the Texans are now -12 1/2. Looks like Vegas agrees with us, that we have regressed with our off season moves
