Parker And Carroo Must Play Big For Win

Carroo and Parker were big pieces in their respective drafts.

Carroo and Parker were big pieces in their respective drafts.

Carroo sat at the back end of a deep Wide Receiver core for most of the season.

With Jarvis Landry and Kenny Stills so banged up, they were limited in Friday’s practice and are listed as questionable for the game against the Chargers. So, it’s likely that Leonte Carroo and DeVante Parker will need to step up to help Ryan Tannehill have a good game and for the Miami Dolphins to win.

Yes, Ajayi, the Offensive Line and the defense run have a higher priority. But, key passes and even a solid day through the air will be crucial for the Dolphins to pull out a victory and keep the wining streak going.

Adam Gase has had alot of help from Landry and Stills making big plays and pumping up the output of the Dolphins offense. With both of them at the very least playing far less than 100% (of course, with Landry that’s still better than most in the league) it will force others to step into their roles.

Stills has played the over-the-top role, and Landry has been the underneath role. Together they have stretched the secondary and put points on in chunks and made huge 1st downs. But, what if they can’t play or have limited snaps? It will certainly fall on Parker and Carroo to fill those roles respectively.

Carroo and Parker will likely play key roles against the Chargers.

The good news is that Parker, who has struggled all season with injuries, isn’t listed with even so much as a stubbed toe on the report and had full week practices. With so much talent and being injury free, Parker has a chance to shine and dominate a weak secondary. This is his biggest chance to prove he is more than just potential. With Stills a Free Agent in 2017, a big game this week and the weeks that follow could make moving on from Stills far more palatable.

As for Carroo, Miami gave up their 2016 6th round pick and 2017’s 3rd and 4th round selections for him, this would be a great opportunity to validate the rather large expenditure. He has shown flashes and is built powerfully enough to work underneath. But, while Parker has the potential to outshine even a healthy Stills, not even the best pay per head websites are betting Carroo to be in even the same orbit as Landry. A good day for Carroo would be a “Landry light” level of production with some key first down grabs.

Should Parker and Carroo succeed, their success will go a long way to justifying their acquisitions. This will be especially true for Carroo whose pick was questioned due to the price and an already deep receiver core. Go Fins!!!

Sorry Pitt QB name is Peterman not Perryman my bad!

Parker And Carroo Must Play Big For Win
I’m never in favor of giving up draft picks base on as you just describe it above as He has shown flashes.

Facts are each player needs to perform their job. no excuses are we saying these guy will not blocked for T or Ajayi?

Miami gave up their 2016 6th round pick and 2017’s 3rd and 4th round selections for him this does not = equal He has shown flashes???? What do you think?

Lets get Physical the Game is Football not Flag Football. I’m sure Parker and Carroo will do their job and will not let their teammates down.

The way I see QB for Miami — AT THIS POINT– is T-Hill has a value of 132-16 per year going forward. If he continues this level of play, they should work on a restructure and draft a mid round QB. If somehow he performs better and the team wins and even makes the play offs, then they will likely be forced to keep him and still draft a mid round QB. If he collapses somehow, then we all know the rest. Either way they should acquire more QB’s. But, T-Hill is providing play to support this type of team and keeping him and building other areas is a lot easier than trying to find another QB….today will be big as the secondary is a weakness and T-Hill need to have some plays and limit those 1 or 2 big screw ups. Clean game please, Mr. T-Hill.

I was not going to mentioned the draft any more this season. I wanted to reiterate that I called this earlier in the season that the people who rate college QB’s don’t always have it right! The QB for Pitt university I recognize his talent earlier this season. The experts projects him drafted in the 7 round next year.

The QB for Pitt Perryman – With less surrounding talents Perryman has battle in many high scoring games. this season against some highly ranked teams. Tonight Pitt defeated Clemson in Death Valley 11/12/2016 Clemson Tigers Score was 42 -43.
M.J. A steal would be taking QB Perryman in the 3rd to 5th round and taking Dalvin Cook FSU R/B in the 1st Round. .
Perryman can ride the Bench a year or two and less see? We need to build for the future correctly.

Next Draft Clemson QB Deshaun Watson I would not take anyone else in the 1st round other than
if Gone! Immediate impact to Dolphins Florida State Dalvin. Cook Running Back
Pitt QB Perryman is ranked in the 7th round they are crazy. He can moved his team,
makes the throws, Plays against rated Teams, Poised in the Pocket, See’s the Field.

I’m actually hoping for a restructure…I’d be fine with 14 mill a year…I think the cap hit is close to 20 mill for the next 4 years (bonus included). I’m seeing signs of T-Hill finding his role. He still throws a couple real scary passes each game — 20 mill to me is the sticking point. You’re right on the blocking…Carroo will do fine, Parker is the concern. On a side note, can’t believe what happened to Pead!!!! Terrible. He missed that meeting with Williams and that lead to him getting cut and now this..amazing how little things can build…I hope he lives and if he does it’s not with a permanently damaged body. The car was something out of a movie!!! So insane….

…the blocking of Stills and Landry were a key part of the offensive renewal …Caroo and Parker are good WRs but so far have not shown up in the run game …here’s hoping Gase can instill that desire for contact in both

…TH has not …imnsho …yet been a key part of that same offensive renewal …his stats are so so …game manager, yes …franchise QB, no …he’s had three decent games thanks to the run game …I have serious doubts that he can make it four games in a row …the upgrade to the OL has not made a positive difference in his game even though the sacks and hurries have decreased dramatically

…and he is a major key to the season …if he has a bad game, Ajayi can’t do it alone

…SD is in many ways very similar to the fins …except at QB …Rivers is much more consistent

…SD has a run game that will test our defense as well

…I think it will come down to which QB has the better game ….and I have zero confidence in TH producing 4 decent games in a row

…hope he does, really …but the past four years plus the 1-5 start burnt me out on him

…there is a 14 mil + difference in our cap in 17 depending on whether or not TH is on the roster 5 days after the new league year starts ….that’s a lot of money if he’s not our franchise QB …that’s more than enough to pot 2 or more pro-bowl FAs on the roster

…imnsho, TH has to earn that payday tomorrow in SD ….and every game through December …not just show up and manage the game, handing off to Ajayi 30 times and making safe 7 yard throws ….he has to become a consistent, positive difference maker in our offense …that’s what a franchise QB does …and TH has to do it starting tomorrow

…or start looking for a new home

…sorry guys, hate to be a downer in the midst of a real winning streak …but it needs to be clear in our heads even when/if we win …we shouldn’t let a good overall team performance mask the looming cap debacle that TH presents …he needs to deliver …and do it NOW.

…here’s hoping he does just that …make my day, it would
