Moreno here to compete

sports gambling

Knowshon Moreno is coming off his best season as a pro, after accumulating 1586 total yards, which ranked him 5th for running backs, and 13 touchdowns. The Miami Dolphins would jizz in their aqua and orange jock straps to get that type of production from their running back in 2014. The million dollar question, or in this case the $3 million dollar question, which is what he will get paid from his 1 year contract, is can he come close to those numbers with an offense that is not even close to in the same galaxy as his former team.

Manning and the Denver Broncos shattered NFL records for a multitude of offensive categories. Oh and Moreno had arguably one of the games best signal callers of all time behind center. So please excuse me for not getting over excited about our new running back. Pay per head sites like Ace Per Head fans would all be in consensus that Moreno is not going to eclipse those numbers on Miami’s sup-par offense, and with yet to be accomplished QB, Ryan Tannehill. However, sports gambling fans would say that Moreno at the least should be an improvement over current running backs Miller and Thomas.

Hickey believes Moreno is a three down back, which from last years stats can not be argued, he ran for over 1000 yards, also had an impressive 60 receptions out of the backfield for 548 yards and 3 TD’s, and proved valuable is pass blocking situations. Last season it seemed like the Broncos were always on TV, no matter where you were based out of, and due to this fact, I can say I was fortunate to see quite a bit of Moreno. He runs very hard, breaks tackles, and has very good hands. One of the games that mainly stands out, was the epic overtime game with the Patriots. Manning played terrible in that game, and was visibly in discomfort in the cold. However, Moreno played his best game has a pro, and carried the Broncos on his back with 37 carries for 224 yards and 1 TD. While watching that game I just kept thinking how hard and determined Moreno was running. This is definitely the type of running style that needs to be brought to Miami. The other thing that should be noted, is that that was the only game last year that Moreno ran for more then 100 yards, however he only had over 20 attempts in 3 games including the playoffs. Again there is a few ways to look at this. If you have Peyton Manning then why would you need to run that much. But to put all your hope in a running back that only had one 100 yard rushing game all season, which Miller and Thomas each achieved as well last year, then sorry if I am not completely sold on that the Dolphins having found their answer at running back. I hope I am wrong, but even if I am, I still think we should try drafting a running back as well.

Moreno is just what the run game needs, power runner, up-the-field, one cut and go, vs stutter steppin hesitatin run to darkness backs we have now. Hickey will most certainly add another similar styled runner via draft, BPA type pick in 2nd or 3rd. Fins must find a blocking TE and IMHO a FB as a lead blocker to ensure converting 3rd down and 4’s via run. In fact, Fins need to be able to run the ball on 3rd and 5’s and 6’s when across the midfield marker. That is the mark of a true running team. An offense that runs a lead or counter on 3rd and 5.

Yeah i agree, I am interested to see if new Offensive coordinator MR. Lazor (by the way i like his last name) is going to be a little more balanced with his running attack

Moreno needs a Right guard and tackle to sort of help out while he performs like Superman.
