Dolphins Fantasy Season Continues With Patriots

It was one thing to see this in the Pre-Season, but after a 1-4 start...it was a fantasy.

Predicting a Miami Post Season after a 1-4 start was crazy, fantasy talk.

A Dolphins Post Season was viewed as a fantasy by most, especially after a 1-4 start.

Right now, it’s a fantasy season of good times for the Miami Dolphins and their fans.

Funny though, it feels like just yesterday that the Dolphins were 1-4. I can clearly remember blowing a mental gasket after the Titans game, and started to question QB Ryan Tannehill  and, to a certain extent, Head Coach Adam Gase — heck, I was even looking way ahead to the 2017 NFL Draft.

It’s amazing how history can turn on a dime. It would be wise for me to remember that going forward with this regime.

The best pay per head bookie service in the world predicted the Dolphins Regular Season Win total at 7 games and finishing dead last in the AFC East.

What the hell does anyone really know?

Life and fate is what you make it — that is, if you have the strength turn the worm.

And these Dolphins have that kind of mettle.

Well now that Coach Gase and the 2016 Dolphins have proved just about everyone wrong, the question now is, how good will this season be?

The Dolphins aren’t popping champagne bottles or celebrating their success?  Instead, the pin-point focused Gase has only one thing on his mind: the next game against the New England Patriots.

This Dolphins team doesn’t see a win against the Pats as a fantasy.

Again we are hearing ‘no chance’, ‘blow-out,’ because this time, the ‘Patriots are serious about this game’.

The line is currently at -10 for the road team Patriots — that’s saying Miami is going to get their hats handed to them.

Talk about the usual no respect for the Dolphins.

The Dolphins are a 10 win football team and are playing at home, where they are 6-1, and they are still a double digit underdogs to the ‘darling’ Patriots. For this Dolphins team, it’s just more fuel for their fire to play hard and play together.

A win by Miami would be their 11th victory of the season, and possibly it could give them the number 5 seed — if it’s combined with a Chiefs loss.

While the 5th seed in the AFC playoffs would be nice as it would send Miami to face the Houston Texans, let’s keep Gase’s same focus: it’s all about beating the Patriots.

It’s no fantasy that the Dolphins beat the Pats last year in Week 17.

The Dolphins have proved the naysayers wrong this season, and there is no reason to totally discount them now. Haven’t they been the biggest underdog story of the season with a Rookie head coach, countless starters getting injured, and an 8-2 record in games that have been decided by a touchdown or less?

This is a team that has found a different way to win, week in and week out, over the last 2 and half months. It’s basically been playoffs for the last 2 months, because they’ve had little room on their record to absorb any more losses. So that, combined with the lesson of the Ravens game, will have them ready.

While many are counting them out, we fans shouldn’t. Because, just when you do, they prove you wrong. This game against the Patriots could have them once again beating the odds. Go Fins!!!

    Coach Joseph

I still remember the PAT’s wimping us and their fans threw snow on our players one season.

It time to shut up the PAT’s its time for (the big payback!) As James Brown said it!
Give me those hits! I want some hits!
I need those hits, hit me!

hits and pressure will be crucial…Brady has that bum knee. Get him moving and some hits it will swell to the size of a melon.

Coach Joseph can out coach the PAT’S. He must not coach on your heals defense But Trust his Corners and Safeties to do their jobs, To trust his linemen MUST MOVE SUH AND WAKE FROM SIDE TO SIDE.. We are being murdered with short passes across the middle. We have excellent line backers just need to fine tune. Allowing the opponent to keep the chains moving. The middle of the field should mean DANGER ZONE FOR THE PATS NO WAY THEY CATCH A BALL ACROSS THE MIDDLE.
We must show Brady a look on defense and change it after his audible.

Miami Dolphins are one of the few teams who can really frustrate Tom Brady by sacking him. Expect the Fins Defense to really make Brady lose it by giving them an old fashioned Whipping! Man! Expect Suh double team, Expect Wake double team. I contend that this game will define what Coach Joseph is made of?

Must frustrate “Brady he is Spoiled and he is 100% certain they are going to polished the Dolphins.

Stop finding reasons you can’t. Start finding solutions. Finding answers. And then get to work. Go Dolphins Beat Patriots Let the Dogs Lose!

    Nice Right up Jimmy!

Brady is a QB who mostly expect his receivers to be at a certain location. I would contend that Miami Dolphins have some of the best press coverage in the league. detaining brandy receivers within the 1st five yards and continue to press that receivers will eventually create some turn overs.

The center of the field is where we really need to pay attention and don’t allow their running back on a delay take off underneath the coverage for a pass.. Line backers must be Pro active in press in coverage and not allow the ball to be caught., Their Tight End someone has to bump this guy before he is out of the blocks do not allow to complete his route not having. Tackling is key.

Bill Bella Cheat will come with play action he is well aware that Joseph Defense is weak stopping the run Expect Bella Cheat to focus passing underneath Joseph defensive coverage.

Here some food for thought! New “England Fans don’t consider the Fins a threat and Bill Bella cheat should received Coach of the year every year. Originally I thought maybe to rest the Dolphins hounds but after watching this preview below just let the Dolphins dogs out on the PAT’s. No way they Win Sunday! Go Fins!

I tire of these guys…never played on any level and say the same thing for the most part. So tired of ESPN and at times NFL Network too.
